We are currently looking for a Financial Officer [m/f].

Job description:
- Coordinating the input of the financial administration including accounting documents; advising on the accounting and managing the operational administration.
- Organizing, drafting and producing periodic reports for all stakeholders.
- Monitoring contracts including Production Sharing Contracts (PSC), Joint Operating Agreements (JOA) and Purchasing Contracts.
- Drafting and supervising POC budgets, assist in the preparation and drafting of the annual budget.
- Several duties, including assist at drafting the POC annual statement of accounts and advising on financial matters.
Requirements:
- Higher Vocational Education/Academic degree in business economics.
- Thorough knowledge of the organization and operation of financial administrations and automated data processing.
- Knowledge of economic principles and designing economic models.
- Legal knowledge particularly focused on interpretation of clauses in contracts.
- At least three years of experience in a similar position.
- Work experience with large (mining) organizations and with the Oracle Financials and Data stream programs is advantageous.
- Analytical and presentation skills.
- Good social skill.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing.
- Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.

De Functie
- Coördineren van de input van de financiële administratie zoals boekingsstukken, adviseren over de boekingsgang en het voeren van de operationele administratie.
- Inrichten, opstellen en uitbrengen van periodieke rapportages voor
alle stakeholders.
- Monitoren van contracten zoals Production Sharing Contracten (PSC), Joint Operating Agreements (JOA) en Purchasing contracten.
- Opstellen en bewaken van POC-begrotingen, assisteren bij de voorbereiding en opstellen van de jaarbegroting.
- Diverse werkzaamheden zoals het helpen opstellen van de jaarrekening van POC en adviseren over financieringsaangelegenheden.
Het Profiel
- HBO/universitaire opleiding Bedrijfseconomie.
- Grondige kennis van de inrichting en werking van financiële administraties en geautomatiseerde gegevensverwerking.
- Kennis van economische principes en het opzetten van economische modellen.
- Juridische kennis met name gericht op de interpretatie van artikelen in contracten.
- Tenminste 3 jaren relevante werkervaring in een soortgelijke functie.
- Werkervaring in een grote (mijnbouw)organisatie en daarnaast in de programma’s Oracle Financials en Datastream, is een pré.
- Analytische en presentatievaardigheden.
- Goede sociale vaardigheden.
- Goede mondelijke en schriftelijke uitdrukkingsvaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels.
- Computervaardigheden waaronder MS Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint.
