Annual Report 2010

In 2010 we commemorated our 30th anniversary. In these 30 years, the Staatsolie family reached many goals with the credo in mind ‘Confidence in our Own Abilities’. The successes enabled the company to contribute to the development of Suriname. In the past three decades Staatsolie has developed into a financially strong company, and has become the largest single contributor to the government’s budget. The year 2010 was no exception to the strong financial results. Gross revenues amounted to US$ 566 million. The resulting consolidated profit before tax amounted to US$ 291 million, and the contribution to the government’s budget for the fiscal year 2010 was US$ 195 million of which US$ 101 million for tax obligations and US$ 94 million as dividend.
