Frits Wolters, Vice President Offshore at Staatsolie, is a petroleum engineer and an industry veteran with over 30 years of international experience in commercial and technical leadership roles. 

Prior to joining Staatsolie in June 2023, he held senior positions at leading energy companies, including: 

• Upstream Vice President at Shell 

• Director at Alliander N.V., focussing on the energy transition in the Netherlands 

• Strategic Advisor at McKinsey & Company and PwC 

Frits has successfully led complex projects across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region, with a strong focus on capital efficiency, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement. 

He is known for his ability to communicate effectively, build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, and foster talent development within organizations.
