Kenneth Raghosing

Kenneth Raghosing is the Deputy Director Finance of Staatsolie Maatschappij Suriname N.V., where he leads a multidisciplinary finance organization responsible for Controlling, Treasury & Cash Management, Supply Chain Management, Gold Partnerships, and Governance, Risk & Compliance. 

  

With over two decades of experience in the energy and extractives sector, Kenneth has been part of aligning Staatsolie’s Finance organization with international best practices; driving accelerated automation, enhanced management information and financial planning, strengthened internal controls, and continuous capability development. 

  

Since joining Staatsolie in 2010, Kenneth has held several senior leadership roles, including Group Controller (2020–2024), Manager Corporate Controlling & Treasury (2018–2020), and Head Financial Planning and Cost Controller for the Refinery Expansion Project (2010–2016); a landmark USD 1 billion initiative. Before his tenure at Staatsolie, he worked locally and internationally with BHP Billiton and KPMG Accountants. He now also serves as a member of the UJV Board of Staatsolie’s gold partnership with Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. 

  

Kenneth holds a master’s degree in business economics from the Anton de Kom University of Suriname and is completing the international executive master of finance and control (Register Controller) at Maastricht University. Beyond his professional role, he contributes to Suriname’s corporate and social landscape as Vice Chairman of Sportsfund Suriname and Supervisory Board Member at Datasur, a subsidiary of Telesur.
