As offshore oil developments progress and major investments are made in the future of Suriname's energy sector, the strategic importance of Digital & Information Technology continues to increase.

To support this growth, Staatsolie is seeking a Corporate Manager Digital & IT who will lead the continued professionalization of the Digital & IT organization and align technology with the company's strategic ambitions. Position Summary

As Corporate Manager Digital & IT, you will have overall responsibility for the continued development of Staatsolie's Digital & IT organization. Building on a strong foundation, you will lead the next phase of professionalization, digital transformation, and organizational development.

You will be responsible for delivering reliable, secure, and future-ready digital services while further positioning Digital & IT as a strategic business partner across the organization. You combine strategic vision with strong execution and are able to connect people, technology, and business objectives.

Strategic Development of Digital & IT

• Further develop and implement the Digital & IT strategy in line with Staatsolie's corporate strategy;
• Position Digital & IT as a strategic business partner across the organization;
• Translate technological developments into tangible business value;
• Initiate and deliver digital transformation programs in areas including SAP, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Data & Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT);
• Further develop the Digital & IT Target Operating Model.

Leadership and Organizational Development

• Lead a department of approximately 40 professionals and further develop management, teams, and individual employees;
• Continue building a culture of collaboration, ownership, trust, and continuous improvement;
• Strengthen collaboration between Digital & IT, the business, and the operational organization;
• Coach, inspire, and develop employees and managers.

Governance and Operations

• Ensure reliable, secure, and future-proof digital services;
• Be responsible for governance, risk management, compliance, and IT General Controls;
• Maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, technology partners, and internal stakeholders;
• Be responsible for budgets, investment proposals, and contract management.

Education and Experience

• Master's degree level (or equivalent academic working and thinking level), preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Management, or a related field;
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in Digital & IT, including several years in a senior executive management role;
• Proven experience in digital transformation, organizational development, and strategic change management;
• Experience in developing organizations, management teams, and professionals;
• Experience within an international, technically complex, or capital-intensive organization is a strong advantage;
• Strong expertise in areas including Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, SAP/ERP, IT Governance, Data & Analytics, and modern digital technologies.
